I got a last minute call to help out Verve Magazine this afternoon with a photo shoot for the Push Fashion model search at Hotel Indigo. Push Fashion will host their second annual fashion show at the Orange Peel on July 16th. Here is a sneak peak at some of the models that might be gracing the runway. Work it baby, work it!
As Kathleen from I Do Dances says “The First Dance is a perfect opportunity to turn what could potentially be a ho-hum moment into an outrageously fun bonding experience that you and your guests will be talking about for years!” Last week I did some photos of Kathleen for her to use for her marketing. I had such a blast watching her soar through the air like a bird. I’ve shot dancers before but never outside, it was a fun combo to pull together. Here’s a taste of what we did.
Tonight I photographed Beauty Through Cancer’s 3 B’s for Boobs Affiliates event at Highland Brewing (event pix coming soon) and just as I was about to pack up my gear I took a moment to admire the spectacular full moon.
Marcus Chavez’s headshots from earlier in the week. We got him all set to audition for the young Dad and the powerhouse businessman! Break a leg, Marcus!
Rebecca and Ben’s engagement session. We went to three different water falls in Dupont State Forest for this session. This couple loves the outdoors and I wanted there e-session to represent that. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Lake Eden. There is a rumor that the bride is wearing Chacos, how fun is that!
Did I mention I LOVE covering food centered events? If not, I should have! I’m a foodie! I love to cook! I love to eat! So, when I have the opportunity to shoot a food focused event like the WNC Chef’s Challenge Kick Off at the Haywood Park Hotel, I get so excited!
Here are a few of my favorite pix from the evening!
Ok, my mouth is watering already!

Amanda and Dominic have been married for over a year now but they are so gosh darn cute together that we asked them to model for us for a promo shoot for Haywood Park Hotel.
